Director Harish Shankar into acting!!

Harish Shankar who directed RaviTeja’s movies ‘Shock’ and‘Mirapakay’ has very close association with the Hero. In RaviTeja’s upcoming movie ‘Nippu’, Harish has done a cameo. This film is being directed by Gunasekhar, script written by Akula Sive & produced by YVS Chowdary. Deeksha Seth is doing the female lead role. Buzz is that audio release of this film is going to be in this December. Thaman who gave catchy music numbers for Mirapakay is the Music Director of this movie and Sarvesh Murari is the Cinematographer. This film might hit the screens in Pongal, 2012.

NTR's 'Dammu' lead roles confirmed

After ‘Oosavaravelli’, Young Tiger NTR is coming with a complete mass commercial entertainer ‘Dammu’ with his new look in thick turned moustache. Trisha and Karthika are confirmed as lead roles in this movie. As per sources, Trisha is very much excited about the script & her role and looking forward to work with Tarak for first time.

Interestingly, industry buzz is that Tottempudi Venu is  playing the role of NTR’s brother-in-law, versatile actor Kota Srinivass Rao is acting as NTR’s grandfather and Bhanupriya portraying the role of his mother.

Successful director, Boyapati Srinu, who delivered commercial Blockbuster ‘Simha’, is directing the film. Srinu is aiming to show NTR in a powerful mass appeal, as NTR has huge fan base in B and C Centres.

Jags Review: 7th Sense: Interesting story-line spoiled by senseless narration

Story & Analysis:

After Gajini, Surya-Murugudas-Harris Jayraj combo’s much awaited movie has took a very interesting story-line. It starts with the historical backdrop of Boudhadharma, a south Asian & Indian who went to China and preached how to cure a deadly disease & taught Martial arts to people over there. The story-line switches over to scientific research over DNA in present and the concept of Hypnotism added in both past & current scenes.

 Plus points:

- First 20 minutes of movie

- Surya & Sruthi Hasan’s screen presence

- Excellent Cinematography

Minus points:

- Unnecessary/Senseless graphics in many scenes

- Lack of comedy/entertaining scenes

- Except a couple of songs, all songs & most of the background music is unimpressive/irritating/mistimed

- Many unrealistic scenes

- Hypnotism not shown in realistic way

 

Final point/Verdict:

‘7^th Sense’ ends up to be SENSELESS movie, in spite of interesting historic story-line & some great Cinematography. Poor direction, unrealistic narration, weak entertainment, ineffective graphics/music become the spoilsport. ‘7^th Sense’ again proves that bad narration of story kills the story itself, nullifying all positives in story & great work done by technical team.

RaNa Daggubati in Bollywood flick 'Department' & Tollywood flick 'Naa Istam'

       Tall & handsome hero from Daggupati family, RaNa is now acting in two entirely different movies. One being Bollywood movie "Department", under the direction of Ramgopal Varma (RGV) and another being Tollywood movie "Naa Istham".
"Naa Istham" movie is directed by Prakash Tholeti and produced by Paruchuri Kiriti under United Movies banner. Genelia is pairing with RaNa in this love story. His new look in the movie with mustache & beard trimmed is looking trendy.

In Department Rana is playing as a tough cop, Shiv Narayan. It is the second film for him in Bollywood, earlier he acted in Dum Maro Dum movie, opposite Bipasa Basu and Abishek. New picture of Rana’s look in Department movie is out now. He looks awesome in the police getup.

In Department Amitabh Bachchan plays as reformed gangster, Sarjerao Gaikwad. Sanjay Dutt, Kangana ranaut. Manchu Lakshmi Prasanna and Madhu Shalini are also playing the key roles.
RaNa is coming with some make-over for this bollywood flick with his body build well and hair made short and mustache, which can be seen in the pics.

Balakrishna's Adhinayakudu First look!!

'HiTollywood' reveals the first look of Balakrishna's get-up in one of the three powerful characters of 'Adhinayakudu' (title under consideration). This out and out commercial entertainer is directed by Paruchuri Murali and produced by ML Padma Kumar Chowdary. Lakshmi Rai and Saloni are playing female leads in this film. Kalyani Malik is scoring the music.
Nandamuri fans are saying that Balayya looks stunning in this old man character and reminds us of his father Late NTR.
