Entertaining action flick. Watch it for complete Mahesh show on-screen, puri show (importantly dialogues) off-screen well supported with reasonably good music & commercial elements.

Pleasant/Enjoyable love story with good comedy & sentiment backed with high voltage fights. Venky scores a HIT. 2nd half can be better/entertaining. Interesting climax.

Analysis: Pongal Winner
For those who are interested to know which is the winner among the movie released for Pongal ...Both the movies should be rated with same rating, but the target audience are different. Businessman might beat Bodyguard in terms of revenue, due to the record screening of Businessman in 2000 theaters & Mahesh's previous film (Dookudu) being a blockbuster. Youth & regular movie buffs might like Businessman more, which a typical Puri style flick with one-man-show from Mahesh; while Bodyguard would impress family audience more due to good comedy/sentiment, but no one would disappointed after watching this movie.
